This is an opportunity for you to join our Qatar based core PMCM Division in a senior role, commencing on a prestigious new High Rise Tower construction project.Senior Construction Manager – High Rise Towers – Qatar The person we are seeking will have more than 20 years of experience in “hands-on” construction management including recent major high rise tower projects, with a minimum 50 floor rise. Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate progressive experience in the following: • Significant prior experience working at a professional Construction Management level both as a contractor and as a client-side consultant. • Reviewing and managing the contractor’s progress. • Reviewing and approving of contractor’s payment requests and issue payment certificates as appropriate. • Provide responses to requests for Information from the contractors and site offices. • Reviewing as-built drawings and the O&M manuals for accuracy and adequacy. • Monitoring the contractor’s progress and prepare progress reports on a monthly basis. • Scheduling and chairing site progress site meetings. Qualification: A University degree or a diploma in a construction related discipline plus membership of an appropriate professional institution would be advantageous. Senior Structural Engineer Site based – Riyadh Our client is a leading Middle East Architectural and Engineering Consultants with offices in Saudi, Bahrain, UAE and Jordan. They are involved in a large number of prestigious projects through out the region. They are currently working on a 50 storey high rise project in Riyadh which has just commenced; the project has duration of 3 years. This is a government back project and is one of the most prestigious in the region. The successful candidate will be based on this project. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, a minimum 12-15 years experience. A proven track record of supervising high-rise buildings. Be able to understand and coordinate the input and incorporation of other disciplines, especially M&E. Have in-depth knowledge of International standards, Codes and Specifications as well as knowledge of Quality Assurance Procedures. Hands on knowledge of ETABS, STAAD or SAP2000.
